just on the out-shirt of Woking town centre a large store perfect for basics and often has great special offers
Fairly large car park Specialist counters inside
The range of products is varied and reasonably priced
The store is well laid out so most products are easy to find,
I'm a confirmed Waitrose gal but have found that Morrisons can offer great value for certain items.
The large store situated just outside Woking is perfect for basics and often has great value offers that cannot be ignored.
There is a large car park which means you can always get a space. I do wish, however, that they'd patrol their Mother and Baby and Disabled spaces as there are often people taking advantage.
Specialist counters include dry cleaning (some great offers here and good service), a hot chicken/pie counter (again very good value), deli (not so good), butchers (OK but you need to be lucky!) and excellent fish counter.
The wine section is also very good and there are some great offers.
Specials tend to be located at the ends of aisles making it quite easy to see what's good value.
Fruit and veg compares well to other supermarkets and is better than Brookwood Sainsburys.
There is a cafe in store which has just been done up and is reasonably priced. Toilets are situated at the far end of the store by the cafe and are always clean.
The biggest grumble is that he queues can be horrendous - particularly before 10am on week days where they seem to be very understaffed.
Large Morrisons situated on the outskirts of the town centre, within reasonable walking distance of the town. It has a large car park outside which is useful for larger shops with a number of bags.
The range is varied and reasonably priced, and the store is well laid out so most products are easy to find, but often gets crowded and busy around peak times, with queues on most tills.
There is also a petrol station located near the exit of the store, which is useful if you have driven to the supermarket and require it.
The staff are reasonably pleasant on most occasions.
Large superstore just on the edge of the town..
All the things you'd expect, plus
Fresh fruit and veg, deli, meats, fish and bread counter
Aisle of household items
Cafeteria (reasonably priced)
Coinstar machine (in entrance)
2 cashpoints (outside)
Large free car park, with disabled and mother and baby spaces
A very large superstore with ample parking and a petrol station within aminute of distance.
They have fresh food and fruits, meats cafetaria, Newspapaer, cash machines and the coinc chaning machine. Cost wise they are quite good.
I have recently become a Morrisons convert and love this shop. It is just the right size for the weekly shopping, stocking everything you need without being distracted by clothes and other non-essentials, whilst having a small range of cookware, cards and 'gift' type products.
It has a fresh well stocked fruit and vegetable counter, a good deli and nice hot chicken counter. The butcher and fishmonger in store are particularly helpful when advising on cuts and cookign methods and I like the idea that items are prepared in store - I sae a lady filling a piping cream onto a butterscotch tart last week!
Sometimes stores are so big that the weekly shop turns into an event - at Morrisons it allows you to get what you need - and get out!
We do most of our shopping here, it's cheap, convenient, the restaurant is pretty good, as is are all the fresh food counters, especially the fish.
I like this store alot.
It is not a huge store like Tesco Brooklands which, to be honest is, most of the time a huge bonus (sorry Tesco!). I can go and do my weekly food shopping here and find what I want or an alternative and come out of the store within a reasonable time frame, happy that I have just filled my families food requirements and within a budget.
Morrisons always have some very good deals and are very reasonably priced. The store is well laid out and easy to negiotiate. I have found that most of the staff are friendly and helpful.
Very good range of in-store counters; fish, meat, salad, bakery, deli, cooked meats and pies.
In the store there is a very nice little cafe which is open and bright with a large window looking out onto their very large car park; there is also a very nice outdoor seating area.
There is also a photography counter, dry cleaners and cigarette counter with lottery.
Toilets are next to they cafe although sometimes I would to see them cared for a little better.
Buses stop right beside the store and as I have already mentioned there is a very large car park. On your way out of the car park there is a Morrisons petrol station with usually the cheapest petrol in the Woking area.
Cashpoint machines are in wall near the store entrance.
There are no clothes here, a small range of home and wares and some seasonal items but to me this adds to the stores positives as it stops me from overbuying and wasting time instore.
do a wicked breakfast and is very reasonably priced
