If you're waiting at London Victoria, you'll be much better off waiting here than in the station itself. It has a fair bit of space, a decent and reasonably-priced (for London) food menu, some fairly decent beers, and a very friendly relaxed atmosphere.
A lot better than the usual faux/character-less 'pubs' that are found in or near train stations.
The one downside last time I was there was that it seemed half the food on the menu was 'out of stock', and it took a while before I could find a menu item I actually wanted, that they had... but hopefully that was just a one-off.
Molly O'Grady's is the perfect place to have a drink when you're hanging about at Victoria Station. Unless you're there at 1am waiting for your delayed girlfriend and the place is shut, which is a predicament I wish none of you ever have to face as Victoria gets a bit bizarre around that time.
Anyways, Molly O'Gradys. I often meet my Dad here for lunch; and it's perfect for us. It has pub food, is has drink, and it has a flatscreen TV which continuously shows Sky Sports News. Rather than sit opposite each other as normal people do, we sit on the same side - with the TV screen opposite. Awesome.
Molly O'Gradys is also a great place to know about because it's very possible to sneak in their and use the toilets, rather than pay the frankly extortionate rate of 30p down in the station. By the way, slightly off topic, but I think some scheme should be introduced whereby the weak bladdered pay a reduced rate. What do you think?.
Great for a quiet after work catch up when there are only a few on you (rather than a huge croud). Very friendly staff and the snack menu is reasonable. More a Tuesday after-work pub than a Friday evening drinks venue.
