On one of my recent excursions out of the city I found myself looking for some where to set down the old jalopy in Shoreham while I went off to look at the boats and enjoy it's many cafe's and the great book shop I recently discovered Shoreham has. The place I found was middle street car park, tucked away just back from the high street in a one way system; it was perfect for my needs. With its' flint stoned walls and occasional lining of trees it feels a bit like a car park in some little Sussex village rather than the busy port area of Shoreham. It has toilets on site and even a pub next door so it's the ideal spot for the named driver to use. Not only that but it's in walking distance from the Adur estuary and Shoreham's St Mary De Haura Church.
