Well apart from the rats running around everywhere (outside) this is a good pub. It is a chain pub but still has character.
All the food is buy one get one free so you can get a really good deal. There's a big conservatory to sit in and look out. There is also a big playground for the kids to play in. Be warned there is a lot of rats around!
Dinner was nice, came on time and was just standard pub grub really. Lots of toilets - big ones. Big TVs. Pool Tables. Massive car park with plenty of space.
Over rated I think.
Nothing here that 1000's of other pubs can't offer.
I'd much rather support a local pub than a chain owed pub.
Support the community pub rather the multi million pound breweries.
I have been to this pub on a few occassions but have found it not my most favourite place to eat, the food is cheap and edible but nothing special,. As this venue is large it seems to lack in the atmoshere of a pub that people enjoy as it never seems to be that full, this may have something to do with the location.
This pub is not nice unless you have kids in which case its perfect. They don't mind the kids running wild. There's enough space for them to run wild. And they do run wild. Food is plenty and cheap. Decent place to spend an afternoon if you need to take the kids somewhere and its raining. However Sunday lunch is a very popular time & its a bit too hectic even for me. Good for kids parties too.
