I love this place, been a few time however not for a while now, for the fee it is very good value, you get some exercise if you walk around & do not take the train.
Best to go on a nice day, not too hot (smelly) or too cold (less enjoyable)
Cafe not the best, looks & feels like a works canteen.
Love the Shop, items vary in quality & price which is good.
This place is just fantastic and kids love it. There's loads of different species of animals we just loved the tigers and the gibbons, there's so much to see and do can easily spend 4 to 5 hours there. We ate in the cafe and the food was nice if a little pricey. Good disabled access and carer gets in free.
Really exciting animal park that I had been too. The park is very large with all sorts of animals, ranging from penguins to rhinos. Throughout the park they do feeding times or demonstrations talks about the animals. Some animals you might even get to touch like snakes. Also, there are refreshments stops, so if you are hungry or thirsty you can get some light refreshments. The park is easy to get to by car but if you can't drive, there are buses which will take you near there, but the rest you'll have to walk it, apart from Sundays where they will take you directly to the park entrance.
A fantastic day out for all of the family . Its a full day out so prepare for a lot of walking . Loads of different species of animals to look at .
