This might be the best Marshall's in the Twin Cities because no one hardly shops here! Its probably because the store is on the Nicollet Mall which is hard to park at and has a reputation of being full of crime. That's why I just take the light rail into the Mall (although it limits what you can buy because you can't carry furniture on the light rail lol). Also, I have yet to have a bad experience as far as the crime subject is concerned. I always find really cute clothes and home decor stuff at this location with good prices. Much of the time, merchandise that I would find at a suburban Marshall's is deeply discounted at the downtown location. The one aspect they could improve on is providing more inventory (more selection and more sizes) for mens clothing. While you usually do have to wait in a long line to check out (typically only one or two cashiers are at the front), I like shopping at this location.

I occasionally came here before the shop closed and overall the workers were nice except for much of the management. Some of the managers were a bit hostile when asked for help and I know some other customers that had the same experience(s) with these certain managers however the associates were very helpful and kind!

Before my week in Minneapolis when I thought about Marshall's inexpensive clothes came to mind. However after Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Twins come to my mind. The reason is that the Twin Cities Marshall's sell polyester Minnesota Twins caps at at least half the price. This was an accidental discovery. When we were in the Mall of America, we were looking for Minnesota Twins caps. I collect baseball caps of the Major League stadiums that I visit. The neat thing about this souvenir is that it is on top of my head from the city that I visited to my home. Anyways, there was a drastic price difference between Marshall's price and the other stores in the mall. Around a $20 difference. The identical Minnesota Twins cap that cost approximately $35 in a typical Mall of America store was $9.99 in Marshall's. Being that I had most of the week ahead of me I passed over buying the first caps I saw. I was well aware that where we were staying in downtown Minneapolis there was a Marshall's in Minneapolis City Center.

Towards the end of the week I walked into the City Center Marshall's to pick up a Minnesota Twins cap. The reality was that there are very few places to buy a Twins cap outside Target Field in downtown. Especially after the Downtown Macy's went out of business. From the Niccolet Mall, I walked down a flight of stairs. Nearby stood a wall merchandising Minnesota sports team products. There on the wall was the Minnesota Twins cap that I brought for $9.99. Marshall's lists the price savings on the tag. It was significant.

In this No Frills decorated discount clothing store, the cashier was nearby. Here they have the one cue leading to several registers system that many of the touristy Walgreens and CVS have. Despite all the registers there were only two open. They got to pass on the savings somehow. After the friendly Cashier rang up my order, we exited up a different elevator that led us into City Center then ultimately across the skyway to Embassy Suites where we were staying. Talk about convenient.

If you are looking for a 100% polyester Minnesota Twins cap at a significantly reduced price I recommend checking out Marshall's. As they say, "A dollar saved is a dollar earned."

A wall of Minnesota Twins merchandise. This includes $9.99 Minnesota Twins caps.

It's very uncomfortable shopping with an underpaid ‍ officer following ppl around , although I know what Nicollet has unfortunately become. ( so his presence is needed) . Used to be fun walking down Nic ! be prepared to be asked for a cig or a dollar , but back to the review. It's a give and take here. For dog owners just trying to catch some deals go here , for people who are into creating & crafting ... turning one's home into something fancy on a budget check 'em out , k that's all ‍ I love Marshall's but this pacific location has some work to do , It's downtown Minneapolis like Wtf ‍

Maybe because of Covid, but I typically love Marshall la and TJ Max, but this store looked like it was going out of sale unless you wanted furniture or dog toys.

Not really impressed with this location. They had a little of this, and a little of that, but the overall selection was haphazard and unimpressive. Especially the shoe section. Instead of shelves on the wall, they had a few short makeshift aisles of short boots and sneakers. And of course nothing in double-digit sizes.

The bath and beauty section was the most disappointing. I came in there in search of body butter, and hardly found anything at all. There were plenty of gaps and empty spaces on the shelves and overall the inventory just picked over.

I did manage to score of blazer though, so that was nice. The young man at the checkout line was also surprisingly warm and pleasant.

Hopefully, I just caught this store on a bad day. I'll give them another chance to make it up to me.

This location and Har Mar are my fav locations.

The service has gone down over the years, but it's still one of my fav, since they have awesome items.

I'm always really disappointed when I'm shopping and trying on clothes and then realize that I need to use the restroom. They have NO restroom at this location. You have to go aaaal the way up to the 2nd floor on the opposite side of the City Center (Hennepin Ave side) just to use the restroom. Such a hassle.

The lady who rung me up was pleasant and had personable conversation.

I will of course be back.

This was one of the first places we visited when we arrived in Minnesota because of a emergency we had. Store is really nice. It's 2 floors so it's pretty spacious. Marshalls offers alot of stuff and more than some Marshalls I've been too. It also has elevators, escalators and clean bathrooms. Sales associates are nice as well. Items are well stocked

This place is a sad joke!!! I have seen better merchandise at thrift stores. There is no selection as the shelves and racks are dreadful. This place simply needs to close.
