The Market Hall is situated between the bus 'station' on Northampton Road and St Marys Place. The main market is open on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with a collectibles and antiques market on Sundays (no St Marys Place access on Sundays). The Northampton Road entrance will take you into the general market section where you will find haberdashers, adults and childrens clothing stalls, a barber, new and second hand toy stalls, baby equipment and china/collectibles, and on occasion specialist chairty stalls. From here you can go through to the produce market (also accessible from St Marys Place) where there is fresh fruit and veg, baked goods, butchers and cheesemongers, along with a cafe with seating area and a habit-forming old fashioned sweet stall with all the jars lined up on shelves. There is also a general community noticeboard on the wall dividing the two areas. Whilst not as well frequented as in previous years, the market is still a valuable part of Harborough shopping, and all the stallholders are more than willing to assist you. Very good access for wheelchairs and buggies, there is a carpark to the side of the Hall, or further spaces can be found at Sainsburys.
