Marina Del Rey Parasailing

I do not know where to start! I have written this review 84 different times, hopefully I can send it on the 85th. I have been alive 30 years now and I have never gone higher than 8-feet in the air without an elevator or stairs being involved. With that being said...I was more scared to try this out than be jumped by a lion that has not eaten in 6 months...Is that even possible to go that long without food? IDK, but that was something I was willing to find out rather than be in the air with just a harness, being pulled by a boat, over a world that we have only been able to discover 5% of...I am talking about the ocean. Anyways... I was terrified, so terrified that I scrubbed my house from top to bottom before I was on my way to this "adventure"... Sidenote...I have an irrational fear of dying if my house is dirty. So, you could say I was planning for the worst.

I decided to put my life in the hands of Captain Vinny and Captain Simon, and let me tell you, I am glad I did! I survived and I got to experience a side of Los Angeles that you just don't get from walking, riding a bike, driving a car, flying a plane / helicopter, or taking a train.

Because of the Captains positive attitude, great one liners and their completely fueled up boat, I was able to have an experience that has become a core memory. With the few moments you are up in the sky feels long enough to enjoy the full tranquility of LA (yeah, it is apparently possible to feel calm in this bustling City) and think about your 10-year plan and everything that brought you to this moment, then you descend. AND THAT LANDING... back on the boat, pure perfection, you glide all the way back down without a hard plop being involved (if you are up for it, you get a little dip session with your feet and the water before ending your trip).

Right after this epic event, I went right into work. Euphoria is what I was feeling as I clocked in. I work at a restaurant (and if you must know, it's always high stress as soon as you get on the property of any restaurant job), and after this parasailing extravaganza, stress never penetrated my thoughts...Nothing could bring my mood down. When guests got crazy, I was quickly able to revert to my now new happy place.... The air... And now I think I know what Nelly Furtado was talking about when she said "I'm like a bird" because I was basically a Seagull, and she was probably parasailing when she wrote the song. The icing on the cake was going back home after all of that, to a spotless house and not the afterlife.

If you have not gone, you should go, or you can just not go and suffer with the diagnosis of MAJOR FOMO!

Captain Vinny and Simon were fantastic from start to finish! I took my daughter up with me on her 22nd birthday and we had an absolute blast! Captain Vinny and his assistant, Simon were absolutely fantastic! Before we signed up, I did research to be sure that I felt safe with this particular company. I was pleased to read that the crew members consist of captains that are US Coast Guard licensed masters with 16 years experience and over 80,000 completed flights. The company website fully explains everything from pricing to expectations and includes a thorough Q& A section.

We had the time of our lives! I also wrote an extensive blog post about just how top notch this company...and our parasailing experience was!

Got a chance to use these guys for my very first time parasailing. Captain Vinny and Simon made the entire experience more than I could ask for. They made my 2 other girlfriends - one of which was terrified - and I so comfortable it was a breeze!
We booked the 800ft ride and added the photo/video package and it was well worth it. The quality of the pics were clear and awesome. The GoPro videos that we took were also clear and made for great memories to keep.
If you want to go parasailing in the Venice, Marina del Rey, or surrounding areas, you HAVE to use these guys.

Wow!!! We went parasailing for my birthday today with Captain Vinny and Simon. Not just incredible vibes on the boat itself but the parasailing experience was incredible. We had so much fun and felt completely safe and thrilled at the same time. We even got to see dolphins!

Simon and Vinny were great guys and gave us a clear run down of what we'd be doing, some nice tunes for the boat ride out, and some fun facts of what was nearby.

I've been parasailing before, but in Mexico. My daughter has never been parasailing, so she wanted to go parasailing for her 11th birthday. I googled parasailing near me, and Marina Del Rey Parasailing came up. I contacted them to make a reservation for August 4th, the day of my daughter's birthday. There was availability on the day of her birthday. They require a down payment to hold your reservation, and you pay the rest when you arrive for your reservation. We decided to do the 800 feet flight and we paid for the photos package, as well as the GoPro package. All the employees are super nice, and we had a very pleasant parasailing experience. My daughter had a wonderful birthday.

This was so awesome. I'm so blessed and grateful that I made it back alive from this adventure lol!

So I decided to go parasailing cause I'm a thrill seeking junkie and I'm glad I made that choice. So far I've been white water rafting, ziplining and I went hiking in the Jamaica jungle however this by far has been the most smooth and exhilarating experience!

This was a breeze, the hardest thing is mental preparation. Staff was nice, I booked over the phone and I arrived with a small group along with the photographer and the captain of the boat.

Before the actual parasailing, we enjoyed an amazing ride out in the pacific ocean and saw sea lions. The views were great. Once we arrived out in the ocean we received a safety training and then when it was my turn I awaited to be flown in the air by the parachute literally!

Omgee as soon as I was in the sky, it was soo easy breezy just sitting and overlooking the ocean was just beautiful. I paid about 150.00 for an unforgettable experience!

This is my first time parasailing and let me tell you Captain Vinny and Simon (very nice people)were great host & made the flight super enjoyable! I will definitely do it again

Captain Vince and his trusted sidekick, Simon, are absolutely amazing! Great music, beautiful sights, and even better parasailing! I would recommend this experience 1000%! Thank you for a great trip on the water this afternoon! We will definitely be back.

Second time coming within a year. They do an excellent job. Vinny and Simon took GREAT care of us. Will be returning soon.
