A small store, for runners and marathoners plus an online store as well - boutiquemarathon.com. I checked out the website and saw the prices were good so I went there to try out the shoes. The staff was very helpful - salesman advised me on choice of running shoe and let me run up and down the street outside (weather was dry and sunny) to test the shoes. Even better, shoes were half-off because model was discontinued ("fin de series").
There aren't that many good running stores in Paris. if you're putting in the miles and need the right shoes, a chain like "Courir" isn't really going to help you - they mainly carry fashion shoes - and expensive ones at that. Go sports is dismal, and they only carry Nike, Rebocks, Addidas - none of the smaller brands.
For hardcores with hardcore-ish willingness to spend.
