In a single lifetime few restaurants get it right, right, right on all scores! Malina is a restaurant serving up authentic Polish and Eastern european fare that did just that last night.
Cannot wait to go back to try more of the yumminess off the menu. Service from Beata was simply faultless and you're guaranteed to leave full and without feeling your wallet's been attacked.
This wonderful restaurant really deserves to be 100% full - even in midweek  so get down there with some great friends. I see they're open on Saturday's from 12 and am already imagining a long and lazy lunch with the papers and some excellent food, vodka and raspberry liqueur. Yummmmmmm.

Well unlike the other reviewer, I am not Polish. But I am local, and as a local, I am delighted to have this unpretentiously beautiful place to hand.

The food was delicious, the staff adorable, the decor spot on.

Brilliant value, will be going back. OFTEN!

The place is charming. Since I am Polish, I actually know how the food should taste like, and what is more important - how important for it is the seasoning. Perfect grilled vegetables could probably not be impressing, if not served with spices which underline the tastes. And as for eating with your eyes, lovely combination of colours and textures. Selection of dumplings blown me away (my mum only makes two kinds, but in Malina you can try them even with feta and spinach, mmm).
Service was welcoming - friendly, but not too overbearing! We had a little raspberry shots as well (in polish malina means rasberry), and drunk some alcohol with gold flakes (!) which absolutely taken my friends (it is called Gdanska, pronunce as C-D-EA-N-S-C-EA ;), you need to try it!), who chose to go for more vodka tasting instead of traditional espresso. They have a little bar with all the drinks laid out, and it seemed so inviting that we wanted to try everything.

Most of all the place look very causy, with white plates and rasberry decor, just ideal for friends gathering. Little candle lights and atmospheric shadows, we sat there for hours, and they seemed to enjoy us being there, but seemed natural after the generous portions of food for alright prices. Mmm...

Great food and atmosphere. Prices are really cheap!

Can't wait for another portion of beautiful polish cuisine.

ps. Dumplings and herrings are awesome!

Had dinner last night at Malina. Never knew Polish food could be this nice. We especially enjoyed the savoury pierogi. Service was great.
