If clean, fresh, French-influenced or 'Shaker' style furniture and accessories are your idea of home-style heaven, you'll be in your element here. Understandably, not the cheapest interiors place to shop, there is still plenty to please and tempt even relatively restrained budgets.


If you're looking for smaller items like glasses, candle holders or pretty mirrors for any room in the house it's a good place to hunt. When you're after larger furniture pieces, you'll discover a plethora of choice amongst seating, desks, wardrobes and tables. Shades tend towards neutral and pastel with an intentional shabby-chic theme.


Service is pleasant, helpful, patient and smiling. When I discovered one little item was missing from my purchases (although paid for) I was disappointed! However, I was pleased (and reasonably impressed) to receive a call, the next day, telling me that they would look after it until I could return to pick it up.

I used to love this shop. Unfortunately they are now stocking real fur items. One of the items on display when I went in was a real fur hare placemat - even if you believe in using fur/leather for clothes this was a distasteful item. Obviously people have different ideas about buying/selling animal products but if the use of fur is an issue for you I suggest you don't frequent this shop. I did email them to express my concern but there response was rather rude - saying that home interior shops are now 'awash' with real fur. Not all interior shops are and I won't be using ones that are.

You can find lovely home accessories here. We bought a couple of outdoor chairs and a metal barstool we use for a lamp table. The larger furniture isn't really our style, but they have some unique coat hangers, storage options and garden decor. New items come in almost weekly and the staff is very helpful.
