I tried them last year because they were listed in the good garage scheme. They are quite competent and explain things need done (before starting it, of course), which I think is very good. However, there are a few things I don't really like about them:
1) Price £60 per hour + vat, better than dealers but still a bit high for a private garage.
2) Hours They open from 08:00 till 17:30, and close on Saturday. So I need to make arrangements at work to manage to send the car in for service/repair and to pick it up afterward.
3) Warranty works They do warranty works for warranty direct, but you have to pay them upfront and claim the money back from warranty company, also you need to pay for the labour rate differences (WD rate is £50 per hour)
4) Payments Cash payments only. Doesn't accept cards.
It is the first garage I tried in London, so I guess it might not be fair to judge them. Based on my findings so far, it is a good garage, but not the perfect garage for me maybe I am being unreasonable, but for now, I am still on the hunt for the best garage.
p.s. recently discovered that they are not on the good garage scheme anymore, which I think is a good thing. Because based on various forum comments, I'd prefer not to use garages listed in the scheme anymore.
