Read my review in Google since it would take me an extraordinary amount of time to repost it on Yelp.

Not a bad smaller-size shopping centre but very handy if it's raining as it was recently when I was in Dumfries!! It made a useful place to shop and browse without getting soaked. There are several good branches of 'high street' stores in there, like HMV, and some places to have a cup of tea and a snack as well. It's next to the main multi-story car park - again ideal if it's wet!

the loreburne centre is ok. I wouldnt go out of your way to go there though as theyre not that many shops.

Theres a pretty good next shop, a surprisingly good poundland (seriously), and a good HMV.

Obviously theres a bit more than that, but if you've been to shopping centres in Ayr, and Carlisle and places like it, then the Loreburne centre falls short by quite a bit.

You'll need to avoid the Big Issue sellers on your way in as well, none of whom are homeless by the way.

The Loreburne Centre serves a purpose. It is not huge and is a little rough round the edges but it does have some good shops. It is good for lunch time if you want to get out of the rain and have a wander.

Shops that I can remember are Marks and Spencer (good size with foodhall, clothes and cafe), Body Shop, Orange, Claire's, Wimpey, 02, Three, Poundland, Monsoon, Next, Peacocks, Holland and Barret, Internationale, Perfume Shop

They also have a few stalls down the centre which vary in what the sell. Can be a hit or a miss but sometimes these have some nice gifts on offer.
