Visited in the afternoon. Daytime menu very limited and wildly overpriced (£3 for a portion of frozen chips? Really?).

We ordered our food at the bar and took a seat. The waiter brought it over and dumped it in the table without offering us cutlery, sauces, condiments or even a smile.

The burgers were fine and we sat for a good half an hour after eating looking over the beach finishing our drinks.

Nobody came to clear our plates until we (and all the other unattended tables) were attacked by seagulls swooping down for the left overs.

Pricey and unattentive. Give it a miss and eat in the town.

In the evening this place chances from a beach cafe to an upmarket bistro. It is extremely popular- so book in advance.
Their speciality is seafood- and the 'special of the day' (clams, mussels, crevettes, red mullet, hake, lemon sole all cooked very simply and served over delicious buttery marsh samphire, accompanied by a small portion of chips) was 25 pounds a person, for a minimum of 2 people.
It was a real 'taste of the sea'- fresh and delicious- but quite expensive.
Starters are reasonable at about 5 pounds a person- try the crab bisque which was a real highlight.
The house wines are remarkably reasonable- a crisp french sav blanc was 10.50, and went down very nicely!

A great holiday meal out- the views over the sea combined with fish cooked with a light touch make it the perfect summer venue for a bit of a treat.

This is a bistro with great food and great views. They use Origin coffee, local butcher's sausages and breakfast includes organic eggs, bacon, sausage, toms, mushrooms, fried bread and beans. Hash browns are extra. Heinz sauces are available to help yourself to. Best breakfast in Cornwall. Perfect start to the day.....
