Menu looked very creative but overall the food lacked flavor. The best things going was the appetizers.
I got the ricotta and roquefort flan on a crème d'asperges. Very good and interesting. The texture was superb and the creme d'asperges was light in flavor that balanced well with the cheese flan.
The foie gras was great and a pretty heavy portion, served with figs and honey, so good.
For meals we got the skate wing and the lamb chops. I was excited about the skate because I have seen plenty at the end of my fishing line, but have thrown them all back. If they all taste like this I will continue to throw them back. Almost no flavor! The sauce was like pouring red water over it, no flavor. I would say the texture was great though and if there is a way to give some punch to the dish I will return.
The Lamb chops were good but nothing extraordinary.
