The absolute best meal we had while in England!

As a 51st Wedding Anniversary gift to my parents, we did a mini-tour of the country, including tickets for the Royal Shakespeare's production of Hamlet.  As we're walking around Stratford Upon Avon trying to find a good dinner spot, Lambs beckoned & what a happy find!

Visiting the UK in "off-season" has its perks & for us, this meant we were seated w/out reservations - which in the future for anyone wanting to experience this deliciousness, I would highly recommend!!

Delish Fish for Mom, scrumptious Steak for Dad & I had the most delectable Veggie delight - Baked Goats Cheese in filo pastry with green beans and pesto dressing

TONS of goat cheese, topped w/ the most flavorful pesto - not too oily but just right (although make sure you visit a mirror afterwards to get all the bits & pieces out of your teeth.....otherwise, *embarassing*)

Paired w/ this yummy beer called Sheeps Head (at least I think that was what it was called - it was a local brew) & it was the perfect beginning to our meal

Dessert consisted of Sticky Toffee Pudding & Creme Brulee & they were absolutely incredible - paired w/ Hennessey & who can top that?!

Warmed us right up for our outing into the bitter night's cold, walking to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre
