I've never had any problems with Kwik-Fit. I've been to them for a few 'tyre' problems over the years and they have always been really helpful. They are always willing to deal with things there and then if they can and always seem to have a wide range of parts in stock. They don't set out to sell you the most expensive product and will recommend the cheaper tyres over the more expensive ones. Staff will advise if you tyre can be repaired as opposed to you buying a new one. I had a repair done their last year - the mechanic spent quite some time working on it - and the bill came in at less than £15. I'd definitely recommend them.
Kwik-fit is your staple garage for everything most cars need, though the staff weren't too helpful or friendly. They did the job fine, which is the essential thing, but bad service and being put unnecessarily out of my way unfortunately came with the price of having things fixed up, which I reckon you get get done cheaper at one of Brighton's many smaller garages. I suppose they are trying to get through everything as quick as possible, which often seems to go hand-in-hand with not listening and being pushy. All-in-all an A-OK service.
