We bought a Hotpoint double oven from Jual and the price was fantastic (we had been looking at same item in currys for an extra £300). Delivery was £20 but when the overall price is still cheap you can't complain! Also the company could only deliver to our area on a Thursday so we had to wait just over a week (because we had just missed deadline for that week's delivery) but it wasn't a problem for us.
Company were very accomodating when the delivery address was different to the billing address and the guy even put it in the back of my car for me - very helpful as it was really heavy.
Having been unable to get through to this company on the phone for a couple of days I placed an order online. AFTER the order had gone through a message appeared telling me I had to phone to confirm the order! WTF? Emailed to request a call but no response after 2 days so left in limbo having paid but unable to ring and confirm the order. Have now emailed to cancel. Wonder how long this will take!
If you do ring, their system is set to cut you off after about 9.5 minutes of queuing so if it's busy, you have very little chance of being answered. The prices are tempting but I would suggest only ordering by phone and make sure you confirm the item is in stock. Otherwise - buyer beware.
Very rude staff - oven ordered back in October was damaged so asked for a replacement but could not be guaranteed a date due to being out of stock. Decided to ask for a refund after 4 weeks - had to chase Juals and as previous comment states their lines are always engaged.
Stay away from this company
Placed an order with Jual and received confirmation of order quite quickly. Was contacted the next day as one item was out of stock and although they said it was due in a couple of weeks, they couldn't gaurantee it. I requested them to cancel the item off my order which they did but they had already taken the money off my account (same day). They said they would put a refund on my account. After I had not received it after 10 days, I contacted them and they said it could take 28 days to credit my account. 28 days later and still no credit on my account and now I have had to pay interest as my full cc bill was not settled. Contacted Jual who said it will be processed in next 48 hours but will do nothing about my interest charge! Still waiting for the money!
Do not give any money to this company! Poor customer service! Happy to take your money, not so happy to give back whats yours!
