Must try the hot chocolate - truly different.
Building was a church - go to the top floor and look at the stunning decorated ceiling,
As you walk in the smell of roasting coffee is fantastic - as are the cakes.
You can buy the coffees as beans - would recommend the Mr Ismails blend which is deep and full of real aroma and flavour (and their cheapest option).
Sitting outside is a bit sad in the cold months - unless you know anyone that frequents 'Spoons' across the road (florid types with balance and mobility issues...)

We had great hot chocolate here. There was a choice between milk and plain hot chocolate. Three of us went for milk chocolate served with cream and topped with a milk chocolate disc that melted into the gloop. Carrot cakes and a blackcurrant sponge complemented the chocolate. After being there 40 minutes we then had tasty lattes. No more food. If you want the best hot chocolate then you must go to any of the Apostrophe cafes in London where the staff warn you it is sooooo chocolaty you won't like it!! Anyway back to Ismail. I saw it did savoury food as well. The cakes were all carefully made and great quality and I've no doubt the savouries will be just as high a standard. No downsides just good honest quality stuff by people who obviously care about what they do and given it's popularity they are being rewarded.
