A friend of mine said we should meet at this pub as they serve a proper Guinness. She was right and three pints later... I also tried their shepherd's pie which was truly fantastic. It was served sort of haute cuisine style instead of in a typical baking dish of some sort... but also very tasty. I thought the prices were a tad high. This review was written in 2010.
Apparently it's a tradition for the Mrs to always go to an Irish bar whenever abroad.
I think it misses the point.
However, went across town specifically to come to this place. It was lovely. The staff couldn't help enough.
It was also huge. Quite dark inside.
Overall, it was a nice place, very expensive and I guess Ok if you're desperatly missing the emerald isle, then check it out. Otherwise... Germany are good for bars.
Great sports bar. Live music some evenings.
Good service and not too expensive.
What was good about the Harp? The location, the potential that this pub could be a really cool hang-out unfortunately everything about the place is tired from the decor to the food, to the flat beer. If your are looking for Head don't come here. Even the music sucked. The owner, just does not want to put money into the place or it could really rock. Even the big screen TV's had poor reception in watching a Champion leagues games oh, wait my 14 yo son said he liked the thick fries.
I love going to the Irish Harp. The atmosphere is great and the staff are always very friendly. Highly recommended.
Useless staff. It looked nice, the reviews were good, so we decided to stop
by for some food.
It was Saturday afternoon and the place was nearly empty. We sat down
outside and after a while walked in to ask for the menu.
The waitress brought the menus, and disappeared. She served another few guests outside but
never came back to take our orders.
After 15min of waiting we walked off. A shame, cause it could be quite a decent
Einer der besten Irish Pubs in Berlin. Sehr gut eingerichtet und mit einer großen Auswahl an Cocktails und Bieren. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und das Essen deftig und lecker!
went there to watch arsenal vs aston villa. 5 minutes before the end of the match the pub landlord decided to switch to rugby. because more people were interested and didnt want to miss the first 5 minutes. he didnt even apologize. just said after we complained that we were free to leave.
