Inka is a refreshingly friendly ad welcoming tattoo studio. They have a nice reception area with comfy sofa where you can browse portfolios and have a consultation. They have a large studio downstairs where up to five tattooists can work at once, though more commonly two or three. They also have another smaller studio where one person can work.
The tattooists were helpful and drew my design from scratch as well as made any adjustments I wanted. As a first timer it was a surprisingly relaxing experience and the staff do everything they can to put you at ease.
I came with my sister here, as she wanted moral support for her first tattoo. In fact, Inka is anything but what you'd expect from a tattoo parlour: the studio is very warm and homely with lovely decor, it's almost Zen-like. This is probably thanks to the owner Barb, a very affable and talented tattoo artist. In fact, all the people who work here are so lovely, they immediately put my sister at ease. She had her little flower tattooed on her shoulder by Jonny (I think that's what his name was) and now she's talking about coming back for more, yikes!
