This is freindly, easy to navigate through. Its a great building too and the staff are lovley, very helpful. If you cant find a book, they will try all they can to get one for you, though it does cost you 80p. If you are late bringing one back, it is 10p a day which i thought was very reasonable seeing as you can have it out for three weeks anyway! This was correct when i was last there (7th july 2008).

They have a large section on local history and photo books which are very interesting if you live in the area.

You can rent out DVDs, buy second hand DVDs, browse the internet for free (using your library card, though it might be necessary to book your time).

I LOVE Ilkeston Library. Its easy to get to via bus route and has just about every book you can imagine. They also have online access which is invaluable.

Very helpful staff, always on hand to help if a book or cd is needed! Wide range of books, with a very intresting local studies section.

This is a good library, with lots of clearly marked departments. The childrens' are is the best, in my opinion, as the range is much larger than anticipated and accomodates all ages groups.

Never really warmed to the library. Always struggled with their PC's and most of the books I ever wanted (which isn't many to be fair) were either always out or they didn't have them. The building has had a bit of a refurb recently.
