One of my least favorite IKEA's in the Frankfurt area. Always tons of people there all the time which is not such a big deal (what else can you expect at IKEA, right??) and very new (just opened in 2007) but what I can't understand is why you have to take all your stuff downstairs in an ELEVATOR to get to the parking areas! If you're just buying small stuff, this is no big deal - you can even take the stairs. But anyone buying any real furniture that is available in their self-pickup area will not be amused trying to fit in the elevator with a billion other people and their kids in strollers. Not a fun experience. I'd much rather go to Wallau near Wiesbaden or Hanau, even though they are a bit further for anyone living in the city.
Otherwise, it's the same as any other IKEA really. Yummy hotdogs, the maze of shopping and tons of impulse buys! :)
