This glorious hotel/restaurant/bar is the perfect place to meet for business and pleasure. They have facilities for weddings and other functions which mean that this place will be able to cater most needs. The cocktail bar is well designed and gives you an executive feel much like the rest of the building.
The rooms are done to a high level and with views over the marina it is ideal for any sort of get away providing that you are willing to part with some cash. However, it will be value for money!
If you don't mind being out of the centre, this is a lovely, modern hotel to stay in, with a really contemporary look (check out the sculptures). We got great views of the marina and a large, light and airy room (see photo - sorry about the unmade bed) with a terrace and a really comfortable bed. The breakfast was generous to say the least, although I'm not sure we should have attacked the buffet and ordered a full English, but no one seemed to mind.
My only complaint is that the bathroom was a bit shabby (the price of using modern fittings and flooring), and they lost our booking (which was a worry as it was during the festival), but luckily they managed to accommodate us, but once the porter arrived with matching fluffy white dressing gowns for us, all was forgiven.
I've stayed in this hotel twice and it is a bit of a walk to the main part of Brighton, but well worth it in my opinion. The rooms are lovely, airy and modern with the attention to detail you would expect in this price range. There is a fab view over the marina, very relaxing to watch the boats come and go.
I would also recommend the wonderful bento in bed, a tasty change to the usual breakfast in bed.
It's also situated on a small leisure park, so you can always go to the movies or do a bit of shopping if the mood takes you.
The hotel is quite lovely, very clean and has up to date amenities. It exudes a casual vibe which is very relaxing. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful which is a godsend when you are jetlagged. I was lucky enough to have a view of the marina. So, I could enjoy my morning coffee soaking in the views of the boats and the sea. What was interesting to me was that the rooms did not have air conditioning or screens for the windows. This is apparently not out of the norm, so you have to go with the flow if traveling to Brighton.
I stayed here whilst I was working at the Labour Party Conference, and although it was by no means central, it was definitely worth it. I had a king room - loads of space, including a really handy area for my laptop for those moments when work tore me away from the amazing marina views. Loved the bathroom and the his 'n' her sinks. Sadly, in my case, it was more like they were hot 'n' cold sinks, but I guess you can't have it all ;) The breakfasts were awesome, and I would definitely recommend getting the bento box if you're feeling lazy, although on a mild September morning, you couldn't beat breakfast on the restaurant's terrace overlooking the boats. Just lovely.
Really stylish hotel but staff overly relaxed (no offers to help with luggage).Great views from bar, restaurant and rooms overlooking marina but cliff views from other rooms include huge Asda.Would definitely go back!
Seattle is a hotel to explore. Sit back and enjoy the day in the lounge, as the boats come and go, or perhaps it will be the retro pop art that will attract you. Relax on our terrace and enjoy the buzz of our restaurant during the evening, whilst you choose from our modern British menu.
Our team are a big part of what makes the Seattle experience so unique. You'll find them friendly, intelligent and never shy with an opinion on where to go in Brighton so anything you need, just ask.
