This is a beautiful shop with so many desirable home fittings that it is easy to stand at the threshold drooling. Er, don't. From lighting - interior and exterior, to door furniture, bathrooms and bespoke kitchens its all here. Sadly my one retail experience here was less than great. We ordered some stuff in October and finally got it mid January. And I had to chase them up. Hello, a courtesy call on progress would have been nice. The purchases were fine though with the exception of what I now know to be called an escutcheon (the usually round plate with a key sized hole you can set over your door to make the lock look a bit posher I suppose). The small picture in the catalogue translated into an escutcheon the size of which could grace any palace or castle you might care too think off. What I'm trying to say is it was huge and totally unsuitable for a domestic door key. Hope returning it doesnt take 2 and a half months.
Awful, unacceptable customer service made to feel truly apologetic to Rachel in the Shepherds Bush branch for purchasing over £2500's worth of goods. Only once she realised I was spending that amount did she even bother to pay attention. Otherwise, made to feel it was an imposition asking her any questions. Then spoke to another gentleman on the phone about radiators and once again, he sounded bored, uninterested and patronising. Admittedly, beautiful products but massively let down by inattentive, patronising staff get some (expletive removed) training!
