    After recently staying at the Hilton Bracknell Hotel, I have to say I was blown away by the place. It was very clean, tidy and well laid out. The staff were beyond helpful, polite, friendly and genuinely care about their customers.

    We booked for the weekend and had the unlimited breakfast - Wow! It was delicious, hot, varied and unlimited! If you're unsure about taking the breakfast - Do it. You really won't be disappointed.

    They have a room called Planet H which is basically a games room. We booked an hour but stayed in there for 2. Played on the Wii and Playstation, listened to music and had a great time. If you get the opportunity, book it.

    They have onsite pool, gym and spa area. I didn't personally use this but friends did and they said it was great.

    Truly glad we stayed at the Hilton Bracknell and a big huge thanks to the staff for making our stay a pleasant one.

    This is a nice and clean hotel with friendly well trained staff.
    They do some music events every now and again and have a great Elvis singer, you would have to ring to find out when and what is on.
    They have several bars in the hotel.
    The rooms are clean and tidy and they have good showers which are powerful.

    It is situated near Hanworth/Birch Hill/Crown Wood and is a bit out of the way of the town centre but there is a big Sainsburys opposite!

    I stayed here 10 years ago and it was a mediocre hotel back then.  It hasn't been upgraded, cleaned or maintained since then.  2 very small elevators, and one was under repair (I think the same one that was getting fixed 10 years ago).   Good thing the service is great and  very nice or it would be an epic failure for staying here again.  Not even close to standards of a Hilton in the U.S.  Would fail as a Hampton Inn in the states.

    First to Review

    In February, I was off to a friends wedding at the Royal Military Academy in Camberley. Now, being a total 'Hilton kinda guy,' it was off to the Hilton website to find the nearest property, thus my first introduction to the Bracknell Hilton.

    Believing that I was going to have to mortgage the farm to be able to stay; compared to other properties Hilton.com had offered around London, I was pleasantly surprised at the price per night and not knowing ANYTHING about the area, where I was going or even how I was gonna get there, I figured no matter what problems I might encounter--the closest thing to 'home' would await me in the end.
    Upon arrival and after a completely horrendous travel experience (but I'll leave that for another website), I was met with what seemed like THOUSANDS of 18yr olds waiting to check in...REALLY!?!
    There was no way I was going to wait in THAT line, so making like a salmon spawning up stream, I fought my way through the mass of 'check-in humanity and headed for the bar! As soon as I popped out the other side, I was greeted by a property manager named Jayne that requested I follow her and proceeded to purchase me my first drink! WOW! THAT'S never happened before!

    After a deep breath and a big swig of my icy Boddington's, another manager appeared (Mark) and seeing that I had my iPad out, he asked if I'd like the information to connect the free hotel wi-fi! To which he provided me a card with all the information and waited diligently until I successfully achieved connection. (Was this the Hilton Bracknell, or the RITZ?!) He left me to my business, and my Boddington's...
    Still with a SEA of children in front of me, I figured it would be at least another hour before I would be able to check in, so I went back to the bar for another. Upon returning to my table, Mark was waiting with my room key and told me that my room was ready whenever I would like to retire. (Obviously these people think I'm some sort of celebrity, but I wasn't gonna tell them any different...it'd been a very loooong day.)

    Upon entering my room, I indeed felt I was home. Clean? Yes! Warm? Yes! Small? Yes, but us Americans could do with a little "smallness," especially around the waistline!!
    It was the best sleep I'd had in a long list of hotel stays! (By the way, you'd think with "thousands" of drunk 18 year olds running [falling/crawling] around the halls, this 'patients impaired' guest would have lost his mind...Obviously, thanks to the hotel staff...I never heard a single one!)

    WEDDING DAY!
    Wake up call. CHECK!
    Cuppa yummy English Breakfast Tea. CHECK!
    Time for the gym...and what a GREAT GYM IT WAS!
    If you're someone who likes to stay with your fitness regime on the road, this gym is awesome! Clean, towels provided, lots of cardio/weight equipment and extremely personable personnel...I couldn't ask for more!!
    Next, it was time for breakfast! "WOOOHOOO!"
    The dining concierge was kind enough to tell me that it was cheaper to buy a breakfast coupon from the front desk than paying in the restaurant (how many people actually care what a guest spends?!), thus "Mark," again, accommodated me and I was off to eat!

    Breakfast? It was fresh, hot and FANTASTIC! Full English Breakfast!! Eggs (two ways), bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns, black pudding, toast, muffins, lots of fresh fruit, salmon, assorted cheeses, fruit juices, coffee and tea...I was stuffed!

    Without going into a long-winded recollection of wedding morning events, my taxi never showed. TO THE RESCUE? "John," the bartender! Without him, I would have traveled 5000 miles and missed what I actually came to the "Mother Country" to see! Thank you John, you're truly one of Hilton's best assets!

    Lastly, after another wonderful, and comfortable nights sleep...it was time to head back to London. Having had the usual wedding celebratory late night, I missed my morning workout and breakfast, but no worries, the bar staff took care of me! John asked what I would like and the kitchen made it happen...and it was awesome! But my neediness didn't stop there. Me being the 'King of the Transportationally Challenged,' I really had no idea what I was doing or how to get back to my friends in London....never fear, once again the Bracknell staff to the rescue! My route was planned by John, taxi was secured and my route was printed byAisha andPankaj,two extremely concerned and immensely helpful desk attendants and I was successfully off to London!

    READER'S DIGEST VERSION!
    After having already booked my stay and then reading earlier reviews, I was a bit skeptical of my choice. The following is a follow-up to one 'Americans' experience....
    ROOM:
    CLEAN, warm and with all the expected amenities!
    BAR AREA:
    Absolutely fantastic service! Great food and large selection of Spirits!
    SERVICE:
    Second to none.
    Most discrepancies posted have more to do with personal issues than with what the hotel fails to provide. And yes, I HAVE been a guest at the RITZ! ;)

    Stayed in this hotel June 2012. The staff here gets 5 stars, however, the hotel gets 2. The hotel is clean on the inside and has a great atmosphere in the pub, the rooms are small and wifi is NOT free as listed above. There was some noticeable deferred maintenance on the exterior of the hotel and interior of the room. There is a grocery store very close and easily with in walking distance and a lake and park equally close by. I am going to try St Annes Hilton next time.

    Typical Hilton fare really. The hotel is a bit dated although undergoing an upgrade as I write this. If you are staying there be sure to specifically ask for a refurbished room. The room we got was pleasant but very very noisy as it was on the roadside of the hotel. Staff were pleasant although quite slow with room service.
