Heart Of The Shires

This is a countryside shopping village. I first visited this a few years back whilst on a canal holiday, it is easily reached from your moored boat. There are a number of independent shops in a traditional setting. The shops include traditional sweet shop, craft shop, preserves, candles and a very impressive cook shop on the first floor. There are less traditional items like spa pools, and there is a pet shop.

Great shopping village which serves as a day out. If you've got anyone visiting then this is a place for them to spend the day. Shops cover: clothes, art, kitchenware, florist, shoes, sweets, craft, gifts and much more. There is an olde worlde retaurant - now moved to a much bigger building. Wheelchair friendly.

First heard about this place from friend at work read reveiws on this site and went to investigate.Super place loved it's olde world charm and the shops although quite pricey you can find that special gift thats a bit out of the ordinary.Loved the cookware outlet had just about everything you would need,Only had a little time but would highly recommend you go for visit.I will being going back there very soon.
