Carboot is ok but worth noting that the location is on grass which in wet weather has in the past resulted in some cars getting stuck in the mud down towards the bottom of the field , and in the summer on a windy day the dust is terrible getting your eyes and throat . The burger stool is a bit sweaty but is ok if you like that sort of thing . Good stalls though as others have said and no new stuff proper carboot sale and all that .
This car boot is worth going to if you are looking only for second hand items. There are no market stalls selling new items at all. There is no entry fee. Parking is ok, however it is situated next to a big tesco and the entry is via a slip road which often gets very congested.
It is an afternoon car boot, starting at 12pm so no need to be up on a sunday at 5 am to stand a chance of getting a decent bargain. it only runs during the months of April to October.
As mentioned it is next to tesco, so handy if you have any shopping to do, there is also a Homebase, Comet and Habitat on the retail park.
A huge sale that is strictly secondhand, which means no men in white vests (market stalls) selling bog roll. Bargains aplenty. Some folks junk is anothers bargain..may even find a treasure.
Every Sunday from April to October from 12noon.
Entry fee Free.
I have been to this car boot a number of times and the things on sale seem to be a bit better quality than your average car boot. i collect glass and china and I have had quite a few inexpensive pieces from here.
Well worth a visit.
you can spend hours here, get things cheap as anything and good quality. I go here whenever it is on mostly
Very well organised. No market stalls - purely car booters.
