One of two large open air car parks in Burry Port; this one is, as the name suggests, on the west side of the harbour and not far from the lighthouse. It's very inexpensive, from 30p for one hour up to £2.20 for a maximum of eight.
There is a block of toilets (which are rather basic and could be better looked after) and there is usually an ice cream van and a crepe stall.
From here it's possible to walk over to the town (which takes about ten minutes), or you can follow the coastal path west past a caravan park and around the coast to Pembrey.
