Having had a very bad experience with previous driving instructors, I was a little wary about getting back behind the wheel with another person who wasn't my boyfriend or dad, and who minded when I oversteered or made jokes about handbrake turns and doughnuts. However, it had been about a year since my bad experience, and I thought it was about time to get back in the driving seat. (ha ha ha)
I walked past this driving school every day and drawn by the mascot smiling car, I headed in. They were very friendly and welcoming, as well as informative. I learned that with them I could get free theory tutoring, theory tests booked on request, special offers on block booking and a whole choice of lessons - pass plus, manual or automatic and intensive courses. I booked a lesson there and then, meeting my new driving instructor at the same time, as he happened to be in shop. They were sympathetic of my old driving instructor woes - especially the new instructor, who in lessons since has been very attentive to what I've learned previously and what I haven't, and in comparison to the old instructor, hasn't set a foot wrong. In a few lessons, I already feel like I've learned more than I did with all the lessons I had with my old instructor, as he's encouraging and honest in his teaching.
Mutual respect I think is important in any teaching enviroment, and I can say for sure that is what I've had so far in my experience of this driving school. So if you looking for an instructor, I'd recommend you'd pop by here and ask for Chris.
