Like, whoa! There is no missing this place, that is for damn sure. With a seemingly unending shop window, which stretches far off along the street, it is really quite impressive just how much they have managed to pack in there for display. You certainly wouldn't miss the point as a passer by. This place deals in HAIR things. All kinds, kinds I've not had the perchance to even understand.

They sell all kinds of shiny 'I'm luminous and exciting so purchase me now!' hair shampoos, conditioners, dyes and so on, so you won't be found wanting in that department. They also sell 100% human hair extensions, which to me sounds creepy - especially given how coveted human hair is to that effect - but if it's Jordan-esque or even Maid Marrion-esque long locks that you fancy, these are the guys to sort you out. Finally, they also sell wigs. And it was the wigs in the windows (I feel a band name coming on; wigs in the windows...) which caught my eye. How very exciting, and how silly that it is so.

There is utterly no need. But I might just go and buy a cool wig anyway. Who knows when it might come in handy? Let's just hope that it doesn't become a rather expensive part of my 'getting ready' process for a night out - which dress shall I wear, which wig goes best with that pair of shoes? Etc.

Hair City is huge with two shops next door to each other. I cannot emphasise strongly enough how fully stocked full to the brim this shop is! Endless row upon row upon shelf upon shelf of lotions and potions, treatments, oils, things I've never heard of or thought could exist! Their hair dye selection spans every colour of the rainbow! They also sell some natural hair dyes and henna. They have loads of wigs in every colour of the rainbow and every style, as well as clip in hair extensions and weaves, hair accessories, jewellery, make up and nail varnish. Many products are suitable for afro hair. There are offers on hair care, some of which is very cheap.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and seem knowledgeable. If you're looking for any hair - related product, Hair City probably has it...and in every colour of the rainbow!

Hair City is a large outlet which sell hair products and most importantly wigs and hair pieces. I love wigs, oh so much, and have been peering in the window whenever I walk past. They have a huge variety to choose from so if you are looking for a wig or any kind of hair accessories then they are a great start.

Also try, CC Hair and Beauty on Roundhay Road (who are worldwide and have a website) and the various outlets in the market who are the cheapest but maybe not the best in quality.
