I too have found a great deal for this hotel when booking online, but I think it's the last time I will stay here.
The rooms are literally the size of a closet, while clean it's just not a pleasant staying experience. There are no hooks to hang anything (not even the bathroom to hang a towel) Also, there was a mysterious smell that permeated the room, probably mold.
It's not the best area to be in late night while walking to and from the hotel.
I've never taken the breakfast, which I think they charge 12 euro for (definitely not worth it when you can pick up a piece of fresh fruit and croissant on the next block)
Wifi is available, but it only works in the lobby.
If you're on an intense budget and only have a night or 2 in Paris before moving on to other places, than perhaps, but I wouldn't stay here again.
There are two hotels next to each other, The Taylor on the left and its cheaper sister to the right, L'Annexe. There is only a 24hr desk clerk in The Taylor and guests to L'Annexe use a code to get in.
PROS: Very cheap if booked online. Quiet. Nice French breakfast served in the lobby (pastries, yogurt, coffee, juice). Friendly staff.
CONS: The WIFI was TERRIBLE! Although I knew it was not available in the rooms, the signal in the lobby is also poor. A real turnoff and made me not come back when I returned to Paris. My single room was very small. No soap or garbage can on day one. No new towels on day two. Tiny, slow elevator. I used the stairs.
I wouldn't stay here again. Although it was clean and well located, it felt more like a hostel than a hotel. I found sometime that offered much more for just a little more in price a few blocks away.
