This is a nice place to spend a saturday or sunday afternoon. I used to live in a little town called Worms, south of here. I drove to Frankfurt almost every weekend to this ice cream cafe' for like 45 min to have brandied cherry ice cream. :) why don't they have this flavor in the US?
Anyway, it's located on the corner of the town square. there are tables outside where you can sit and people watch and listen to street musicians....violin, chelo, flute.... then there are always people who will come and serenade you... so romantic.
The town square is cobble stone. the buildings are tall and stuck together and retains it's gothic architecture. There is a large fountain in the middle of the square. Sitting there you will feel like you are in a postcard!
it is accessible by train, streetcar or underground rail, bus too.
walking distance from the train station.
*inexpensive & very relaxing experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
