Nice leisure centre which has a very modern gym, has recently been upgraded and they have all the brand new equiptment out, there is even a exercise bike which has a video game on it, and if you stop peddaling it stops aswell.
The sauna is also very good here aswell so is the swimming pool.
Also has Squash courts, football courts, basketball courts and a bar.

This is a great Leisure Centre located in Swadlincote and has all the facilities you would expect. The swimming pool is clean and just the right temperature. The changing rooms are also very tidy and clean. The prices are very reasonable and you can hire out facilities for functions. You can park on the car park for the Council Offices.

Get out your pat butcher ear-rings and your brightest Kappa poppers for your visit to Green bank. If you haven't got at least three tattoos don't expect to be let on to a weights machine in the gym!
Jokes aside, this is not a great leisure centre, it is very run down and not especially clean. The pool is Ok but they never seem to be able to honour their advertised "lane swim" hours as mentioned in the timetable. We have had to ask for lanes to be put out in order to be able to manage a few lengths, because there always seems to be an abundance of Swaddites who hang out in the pool and don't actually ever swim.
Gym is Ok, very busy and sweaty at peak times. They really could do with some fresh-air ventilation. Body pump is a great gym class, but the weights that go on the bars are worse for wear - with all the filling to the weights crumbled and feeling lighter than the stated weight. I went to spinning once, the instructor was late, dropped her bag down and out fell a pack of Marlboro' lights. Very inspiring!
People of Swad really need to campaign for a refurb of Greenbank to make it a viable alternative to the meadowside.
