Do it, do it, JUST DO IT!
Really motivating way to lose weight, tone up and make some new friends (at least people you can have a laugh with at 7am!). You sign up for eight sessions over a month (if you do two sessions a week), and you find the intensity gradually increases.
If you do two months in a row then you get it heavily discounted.
There are about 4-8 people in each group, so you do get personalised help/guidance but also the benefit of the others to keep you motivated. It's quick bursts of high intensity cardio (ie. sprints/running) then a mix of muscle exhaustion exercises (insert 1000 lunges, squats here). You can work at your own pace, although the results will obviously be better the more you push yourself.
This is not some insane miltary screeching regime... Gavin or your instructor will motivate you, sure, but it is not by yelling or punishment. It will be you doing the squealing!
There is also the added benefit of nutritional advice and tips via email - which again, you do it, you see the results. Although I could never quite give up the pasta... :( (see all other reviews which are eating, eating, eating!).
What I also like are that the people who come (in both groups I've been to anyway) are not fitness mentalists - ewww, they scare me. They are a great bunch of people with realistic fitness goals and who are up for a laugh.
