After arriving at the Munichs Intl Airport and shortly being done with the check in @ Louis, my Gang (consist of 4 Adults n 3 Multi-Culti Kiddoz) took a ride to Maxvorstadt where Garuda is located. We took the Terrace area instead of dining inside the resto as we forecasted that the Kiddoz would demolish the antique furnitures. :D

The Menu looks flattering and 4 of us ! The 2 Indonesians, 1 German and 1 Italian ordered as follow:

1x Nasi Goreng (fried Rice with big Shrimps and Veggies )

2x Bakmi Goreng Udang (fried Rice with Chickenbreastfillet and Veggies)

1x Ayam Rica ( fried Chicken thighs in Chili Sauce-Menadonese Art - hot)

1x Rendang Sapi (indonesian very speciality of slowly cooked beef in coconut milk and spices for several hours until almost all the liquid is gone, allowing the meat to absorb the spicy condiments -spicy to hot).

1x Ikan Bumbu Bali (Cooked Fish Balinese Art- sweet&spicy).

Due to our huge Appetite and the fact that 4 of us just flew across the continents our ordered Food was a bit too much we couldnt manage to finish every single Dish.

As the matter of fact, the only Dish we least like was Ayam Rica (Chicken Rica) as IMHO they should have cooked it a bit longer n tender.

So guys, dont hesitate to dine it at Garuda.
RENDANG, IKAN BUMBU BALI and BAKMI & Nasi GORENG are highly recommended- even from the 'locals'! :D

Ambient (interior) and Service was great but the Food Presentation is rather too easy. Price was moderate due to Munich Price Range but we also noticed that the quality of the meat for instance wasnt satisfying.

To my knowledge the only Indonesian in town. Not a bad choice if you've never tried dishes from that corner of the world: they offer a range of the most famous and representative dishes. Decor is simple and there's no special atmosphere but all in all it's worth a try.
