A real nice looking restaurant in the Oxford Street with friendly employees and good food.
I can really recommend the original burger :)
We were at the corner of Oxford and Regent where there are not that many restaurants. Mostly stores. We talked about wanting to try McDonalds in the UK just to see if it's like the ones in the USA, but I hate the idea of eating at a restaurant (Subway, KFC, etc) that have spots in the USA. We saw a McDonalds within eyesight, so we decided to go for it. On our way, we saw Garfunkels next door, so we decided to give this place a try because it can't be any worse than a McDonalds.
They had Yorkshire Pudding on the menu. I don't see that on that many menus and I never had it, so I gave it a try. The beef was dry and tasted like a frozen dinner type meat. The fried potatoes were still frozen in the middle of them. Needless to say, I still haven't had yorkshire pudding because this was a bad cheap attempt. I should have eaten at McDonalds.
I have to admit our experience at this Garfunkels wasn't bad. We were seated upstairs right away and were given a clean table and menus. We were next to the stairs that lead downstairs and there was a funny smell coming from thereEw.
Anyways I has a club sandwich which was massive and tasty and my friend had grilled chicken breast which she said was juicy and well seasoned.
3 stars as prices are ridiculous and for that funky smell.
