I've booked my appointment in "Gallery of Beauty" to do my nails (shellac) haircut and ombre. The hairdresser that I've booked appointment with was not there and my hair has been done by someone else. I had my natural colour on the top of my head and leftovers of brown and blonde on my ends. I've asked the hairdresser to add blonde and keep my natural colour on my roots. The hairdresser has bleached my hair and in the mean time I was doing my nails. The beautician was horrible, such a poker face. If you are working in this kind of environment you should be more cheerful! After washing my hair I did not notice any difference in colour. The bleach was on my hair for 40min without any result. I said to the hairdresser that I can't see any difference; my hair basically looks the same as they were at the beginning. She was trying to tell me that she's not sure what colour has been used previously and actually the only effect was visible on my ends which were more blonde. The owner said that there is no time for changes that I will need to come other day as they are very busy however the hairdresser said that its fine and she can add some highlights. After adding highlights at least the difference was visible! The first thing is that they don't know how to do real OMBRE! I think they've never seen real ombre, they are only good at making highlights! The price for the ombre and a haircut supposed to be £69 and I've end up paying 20£ extra for the highlights! It's not my fault that the hairdresser is not qualified enough! If you are a professional hairdresser you should predict the result! I've been a regular customer in RUSH and this time I wanted to save money as I had quite a lot of expenses this month and I can say that it was the biggest mistake ever!! REMEMBER: What you pay is what you get! Apart of that, they've charge me 2£ extra for 2 stickers on my nails which were brought by me! I would suggest to avoiding this place. The worst service you could ever get!
I had previously had a Brazillian blow dry back in Nov which was very good, when I went for a return visit 2 weeks ago I noticed that the solution did'nt seem as strong and after I got home and washed my hair 2 days later it was as wavy as before, I called and explained the situation and they said they were happy to redo it for me. When I turned up for my appointment with my 2 year old daughter in her pushchair the Manager and Owner were visable annoyed that I had brought her with me and were continually talking to each other in Polish which obviously is incredibly rude, they then told me that they would only do the blow dry again if I agreed to buy their shampoo and condititoner which cost £20, as they had done this 1000's of times and I was the only person it hadnt worked on!!, I agreed to buy them, all the while the Owner was standing giving me dirty looks, but the final straw was when I asked if I could take my daughter to the toilet and they said no it was broken, in the end I walked out in disgust. I am a qualified Nail Technican and would never dream of treating my clients as they treated me, I feel I have pretty much thrown £60 down the toilet with no come back.
