This store serves its purpose: Accessible, fast & courteous Selling Staff, a WIDE range of Lifestyle Brands and divine Eateries at the bottom Floor. It's certainly not for the Cheap, nor those whom would rather fish their Seasonal Wardrobe out of some barrel in a musty Kreuzberg "Pop-Up" Shop. If you dont like Labels...dont shop here, it's label Central. Which provides perfect balance amid Berlins' "Musty Bargain Warehouse Independant Clothier" backdrop. If most of your clothes come from H&M/Zara...DON'T SHOP HERE! A touch of Luxury is always necessary.
Plus, during the harsh Summer heat, this complex is a wonderful escape!
The only issue I have with this establishment is that they need to narrow down their assortments by 15%. Everywhere you look there is Merchandise...The Gallery is BUSTING at the seams. Many of the Shops bled into one another and it was hard identifying Brands. Less is more, wouldn't you say?
I enjoyed shopping here on many occasions and this is my Go To store for Gifts.

Obviously, it's the same chain as the one in Paris that fits right in among the overpriced stores and restaurants along Friedrichstr. I always stop by the food court where I can find a great selection of cheeses, breads and wine, and scrumptious pastries (true to its French origin).
Unfortunately, the service, especially at the pastry counter is appalling ... to say the least, as the old maidens running the stand haven't quite figured out that selling the pastries to the customers is part of their jobs. They will literally have a line of people waiting while they take their sweet time cleaning and fervently "rearranging" the display case.
Sadly, I endured the abuse just for a bite of the delectable chocolate croissant.

oh, blah. I was expecting a large, airy department store with lots of space, where you could peruse at will and look at all sorts of beautiful things... what I got was a smallish department store where most of the space is wasted on this pretentious giant installation piece of the Tour Eiffel inside a gallery in the middle of the building, so that on every floor you have to walk around it to explore the selection, which was quite nice but a little cramped. Not a fan.
I saw several brands I like, but the space was just completely uninspiring to me, so I didn't stay very long and left without buying anything. I would much prefer to browse individual stores.

A great Place! As a foodaholic, I have to recommend the soups in the basement of the dep. store. Real feeling of home made and naturally made.
The shop itself is very convenient and I especially like the French bookstore in the basement, right on the exit from the department store.
In the other end of the house there is a great small shop that imports clothes from Italy and sell high quality jackets for quite cheap.
It's also very nice to spend some time, a business meeting or just pass there to relax in the nicest shopping mall in Berlin.

i don't know. i liked this place. high end shops and the food court / restaurants on the 0 floor were fun to peruse. i would recommend doing a quick browse in this shopping mall. definitely not budget friendly but worth a visit. of course, i think the kadewe food hall is much better (from what i have heard and read) but for being close to the westin hotel, this was perfect for us. will be back to do takeaway and check out the other eateries.
had the seafood crepe at the creperie and it was yummy. bought some macaroons at the bakery down there but definitely not laudree.
the bouillabaisse/seafood eatery is yummy! definitely grab some soup while you are there.
