Really big shoe store spanning across multiple levels with every type of men's, women's and children's shoe you can think of. Boots, sandals, dress shoes, they seem to have everything but a good selection of sports trainers (Foot locker, Adidas and Nike are 50m away, so no worries). Their sock selection is respectable and they have a big range of insertable soles, shoe polish and shoelaces.

Prices at Görtz are in the mid/high-range, as they mostly stock mid-level brand-name footwear. At the height of the winter season, you can expect to pay 70-100 euros for a pleather boot and 120-190 for a leather boot.

They also have a nice selection of handbags, but it is still beyond me how shoes and handbags have any correlation to one another.

    Shoe shopping while visting hamburg.
Staff mrs. Frey was very friendly, the others more looked like angry or bored. Fast servie and a great collection of shoes and brands.

This is, I think, one of the biggest Görtz's, nay, one of the biggest show shops I've ever been in. Sadly, it also has the lowest staff to number of shoes (and therefore customers) ratio too. It's almost impossible to get served here, and so I can't really recommend it. Also, they never ever have your size. I once tried about 6 pairs in vain, so you end up buying shoes you don't really want too!

4 floors with shoes. Tons of shoes to choose from, most mainstream brands (converse etc) plus their own brands. However, also a pretty low ratio of staff vs customers so we had to wait a while to get help. Most of the time I go in there I still don't find any shoes I want, despite the thousands of thousands of shoes they carry. I am probably too picky.
