I stayed at the Friesacher Aniferhof but the Hotel Restaurant and Bar was where I ate and drank on two nights. The food at the Restaurant was excellent and reasonable. The first night I had a boiled beef and tongue with vegetables which came with a horseradish cream sauce. The sides were a potato pancake, creamed spinach and a lovely creamed cabage with bacon. Too much food! The next night was a pork tenderloin with prunes and a wine reduction sauce. Also excellent. The bar was a classic. A good Cuban with a few drinks and some very welcoming and colorful locals is what travel is all about! I have been invited back.....and I will be back!!
