If you want to visit a car showroom without being harrassed by annoying salesmen then visit FOW ! This place is huge, impressive and extremely organised. You drive in, park up and give the keys to a member of staff who gives a fair valuation on your car while you're left to peruse the hundreds of cars they have for sale to suit all budgets. If you spot a car you wish to see a little closer then you make your way to the sales office, give in a few personal details and you're handed the keys, still no salesman on your tail unless you request one. You make your way to your car of choice and under no pressure are left to check out the interior, start the engine, try out the gadgets, look under the bonnet (if you're a man). Should you wish to purchase the car then's the time for the salesman who you still have to request, there's absolutely no hassle from them at all which I think is fantastic !! I've bought 3 cars from FOW and each time I've found an amazing deal, been dealt with swiftly by their staff who are easy to talk to, no Mr Smart Ass comments that car salesmen are usually famous for. If I've spotted a fault after driving my purchase away FOW are more than helpful in fixing the problem however I must point out the problems I've experienced have been small. I have no idea why other car sales companies don't follow in Fords of Winsfords winning formula - I personally wouldn't go anywhere else for a used car again !!
Bought a car from them last year, very good place to buy a car from and I dont say that lightly, no pressure selling, no complicated deals, although they dont take anything off the asking price,
you pay for what you get, good friendly services with no pressure selling, thier after sells are very good aswell
This place was recommended to us when we wanted to upgrade from a small car to a family car.
At fords of winsford you will find a wide range of nearly-new cars on display from many of the manufacturers, not Just Ford (the Ford in the name refers to the family). A relaxed environment where you feel free to look around to find a car that is suitable for you and are under no pressure to buy if you don't.
They also have a website fow.co.uk if you want to check out a particular make or model before you head down there.
Friendly staff who are keen to help.
We have been to fow a couple of times to look for a new car and we enjoyed the whole experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, although our favourite is a gentleman called Malcolm (sorry can't remember his surname) but he is lovely, makes you feel very relaxed and isn't pushy at all. There is a huge range of vehicles to choose from, from makes to models. There is a cafe there but it isn't that great for food but the drinks are fine.
