Highly recommended. I took my bike to Foffa Bikes three times within the past year, all for (minor) repairs, and received excellent service at very fair prices each time. They genuinely care about their customers. And they genuinely make you feel the love that they have for bikes, regardless of whether you come in with one of their own Foffa bikes or a not-so-fancy machine like my own.
First time I went, a screw under my saddle had broken and a few pieces were missing. The Foffa mechanic took a quick look through their own tool box, found the screw and all other pieces and put my saddle back together within minutes. Having been to other shops, I'm convinced that a few of them would have asked me to buy a new saddle, or at least an expensive set of new screws / pieces.
Second time I went, they fixed my brakes and did a great cleaning job on the side, at no extra charge.
Third time I went, I needed new tubes and tires; the old ones were worn out and needed replacement. Unfortunately, I have a Dutch bike with a rather unusual size of tires. From emailing back and forth with Foffa, I know that they spent a significant amount of time on researching suppliers that could provide the right tires not an easy task. In the end, they got me exactly what I needed, once more at a very fair price.
As I'm thinking about buying a second bike next year, I'm definitely considering a Foffa Bike because among other things I trust that when I need service from Foffa, I can absolutely rely on them.
Any colour you want, as long as it's........ in the visible spectrum. All their bikes are fixies and all lovingly made in house from double butted steel. They have various frame styles with some somehow seeming to be a modern interpretation of a traditional Dutch design.
It's a small concern and they are nice, friendly people, if you really want a fixie these peeps can fix you up.
Fixie heaven. Loads of bikes and really helpful guys. Not sure it's so great for other cyclists (mountain bikes, racing bikes etc.) but they were able to sort me out with a spare part. Also the only bike shop I've seen with a sofa...
After spending £600 I'v'e replaced almost all parts of my "ridable fashion" apart from the frame. Foffa is all style over substance and uses poor quality components. Wheels, brakes are all shit. The owner Danny seemed more concerned with the finance, marketing and hard sell than providing a quality product. He should be a used car salesman. Scratch the surface of any review website, bike forum or bike shop and you'll learn the truth.
