I went here for a birthday treat - a hot stone massage. Being a slightly awkward person, I was quite worried that I was going to turn up to a daunting spa with lots of people. But this is a cosy, little room at the back of a house where you get one to one quality treatment at reasonable prices.
The massage therapist behind Flowing Touch Therapy is Flo Wooler. She has a friendly and professional nature that puts you at ease straight away. And she makes sure you are safe to go through with it (by asking questions about your health and medical history before you begin).
The massage itself was, of course, really relaxing. When I imagined having a hot stone massage, it was just how they are in the pictures - stones in a line on your back. But actually, Flo had to use a lot of energy and fast movement with the stones to the point where you can really feel your blood flow going.
If you are looking to treat yourself or just need to relax then this is a great place to go. There are a wide range of therapies on offer too. These Include Indian Head Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Reflexology.
