This place is your typical bier garden! The beer was great! My wife had the chicken schnitzel and I had Pork Medallions over home made Spätzle in a light sauce! It was outstanding! Highly recommend this place!

Our local bar and also one of the largest and nicest beer gardens (Biergarten) in Vienna. Highly recommended especially in the summer when the outdoor area is open.

We had a party of 10 just leave dinner and had the absolute WORST experience we could ever imagine. I'm not sure what the name of the server is it... it might be " Dino" from what I interpret in the receipt but I am attaching pictures of the receipt so that he can personally be held accountable for such disgusting service.

Our dinner started off with my father calling him over to the table by saying " Sir, we're ready to order". The server yelled back " yes I HEARD YOU, I HEARD YOU" in a very annoyed tone. We instantly knew he was in a bad mood by the way he responded and subsequently rolling his eyes. The whole time ordering our plates he just seemed annoyed by our questions and was rushing us.

At the end, we kindly asked him to split our checks. Once we received the checks, we realized it was all wrong. There were missing items, and the wrong items under each tab. We called him over to explain the situation. He began what I assume was cursing in an unknown language and threw the paper on the table. He told us that he had it right and that we needed to pay. He stormed away from the table throwing his pen and breaking his chain from the pen along the way. We were left in shock that someone could behave in such a way. He literally threw everything at us and proceeded to yelling. I guess he stormed off to cool down but he came back even more mad.

When he came back he handed us all of the receipts and told us to figure it out ourselves. When we tried handing him one of the checks that WAS correct he threw his arms as if saying " get out of my face" and once again stormed off in fury. It is UNACCEPTABLE for a server to deliver this kind of rude customer service. I was personally doing all of the translations in English and so there was absolutely no language barrier.... which even if there was, there is no reason to treat customers with such disrespect. If there are outdoor cameras, please go ahead and check them so you can see for yourself his horrid behavior.

Although the food was great, this kind of service is unacceptable and we will be steering away from places that have this kind of customer service. NEVER AGAIN.

Had a fabulous meal accompanied by beer as good to match it. I will second earlier reviewers in saying that you must try the goulash -- it was fantastic. And the value can't be beat.

Really good restaurant/bar!. I have been there twice, and always has been crowed but it's big so we don't have problem to get a table.
Goulash is a must, and sausages fill in with cheese is delicious.
It is not expensive, 12€ per person food and drink

So everyone talks about this place like it's a must when in vienna. I really enjoy good beer so I was excited to check it out. I guess things got off to a bad start when I was in the less than acceptably clean bathroom. The water in the sink was ice cold and the electric driers were not working either. Once back at my table I ordered their house beer which is self brewed. After drinking 25% of the half liter, I decided it just wasn't for me. I thought it tasted a little too much like yeast. I asked the waitress if I could trade for some other beer. The answer was no because I already drank so much of it. (25% is so much?) she wouldn't budge and I wasn't getting a new beer. To me that is zero customer satisfaction. We ordered food...it was ok. I wouldn't recommend the wiener schnitzel or the hamburger. The patio was nice but loud (from traffic) and smokey. I can recommend this place at all. It just wasn't so special. And in vienna the competition is tough and you have to be special.

The fisherbräu can be absolutely rammed, but still a nice place with good traditional austrian pub food and beer. Unfortunately the service is not the quickest I woul avoid going there when I was very hungry since it takes quite a while till you get your food. The garden makes up for that though.
