Had a lovely lunch on a glorious day 31st May 2013, what a beautiful setting. It was great to hear all about the history of the tearoom from the friendly owner. My first visit but I will definitely be back.
A modern cafe and surprisingly large inside with plenty of room for the occasional coach party in summer, with seating outside and in! Lots of snacks and light bites available, including hot rolls, toasties and all-day breakfasts; cakes and biscuits too. You can also buy an interesting little book there - 'Cumbrae Rocks' about the geology of the island plus other interesting information (only £1) The staff were very friendly and the toilets clean.
I give only three stars because I think a greater variety of meals could be offered and the decor could be more interesting - perhaps using local crafts or with colourful blinds/curtains at the windows as the cafe is a little drab.
Situated a few miles out of Millport above the quiet coast road, with lovely views.
