Everything for the small holder, horse owner and pet owner under one roof. They stock food for dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, guniea pigs, budgies, horses, pigs, turkeys, ducks, chickens, sheep, goats and many many more. They also stock housing for a wide variety of animals in addition to electric fencing and stock fencing. They have a range of incubation kits for eggs as well as all the equipment you need from hatching to adulthood. A fish section is also slowly developing.

The equestrian section is extremely comprehensive offering everyhing the modern horse owner and rider could wish for and plenty more. Of particular note is their pink range which includes sparkly riding crops with stars and matching grooming kits. Their range of own brand clothing is extremely durable and very well priced.

Specialties

We like to think we offer more, not only from the range of products we stock, but to how far we'll go to make sure our customers are satisfied.

Pet products aren't all we offer; we stock a diverse range of lines from equine goods, work wear clothing to general purpose products such as coal. We're a small, but passionate business, and so can offer a deeper, tailored shopping experience to you and your animals. You can contact our team about anything from what dog toy is best for your pooch, to how to worm your poultry effectively or if you can't find a product you're looking for.

History

Established in 1970.

Farm and Pet Place was established in 1970 by our owner Gwyn Lewis. Coming from a traditional Welsh farming and timber merchant background he started the business as an agricultural merchant, combining his experience selling animal health and farm feeds with his knowledge of farming.

Over the next 20 years, the business grew from van sales to five small premises in the North Wales area. Then, in 1994, a strategic decision was made to include pet food and accessories.
