This is a lovely shop that sells a great range of toys on the ground floor for babies, small children and big kids.

There is an extensive range of nursery equipment on the first floor with staff that really know about the products and are happy to give you sound advice.

There is also a section upstairs that sells beautiful, if expensive, children's clothes. Many of the clotes are French and really unusual.

This is a great shop that has much more inside than you would imagine from the shop frontage.

This shop is well known in the area for its extensive range of baby related products, but yes it is expensive, and as a non-mother I have always been surprised that the nursery department is at the top of a long flight of stairs. The ground floor is the toy department with a large selection of early years toys and Playmobil plus dolls, dressing-up and crafts. The best section has board games, educational toys, gadgets and loads of skateboard stuff. The young lad working in this section was really enthusiastic and gave us some great ideas for presents that we hadn't thought of or even seen before.

I don't feel quite as enthusiastic about this toy shop as others seem to. For a start, baby things are on the top floor up steep stairs which is a nightmare when you have a buggy. There was a sign saying to ask for help to get your buggy upstairs, but when I did this the lady behind the till looked very shocked.

Not terribly customer focused. Management talk over your head about shop issues as you are trying to shop. Whilst some of the young staff are enthusiastic and helpful, some of the more aged ones give the impression that customers are a bit of an inconvenience.
