1 review for Elephant Walk
I recently dined at the Elephant walk and was delighted with everything. I also discovered that it was voted the best Sri Lankan Restaurant in the UK this year, so that was great to know.
I have been seeing and walking past this restaurant for ages and originally thought that it was an Indian restaurant, because of the name being associated with Indian culture, the countries are right next to each other and the foods are very similar.
I finally ate there due to my girlfriend's sister booking at table for all of us. It had a real relaxed mood in there, I had never eaten Sri Lankan before and this was a great place to start, being the best in London and all. Everything is of a reasonably priced and presented really well.
It is a quite restaurant and at the same time almost packed out, so I wouldn't recommend a birthday meal there, it is just somewhere to eat a nice meal in a relaxed vibe.
I had the Mango Lassi and Butter Chicken, which was delicious as it sounds. We all agreed that we will definitely be going again. It is easy to get to, only a two minute walk from West Hampstead tube.
