Very nice place, great steaks (I take the salads normally during lunch time, but had steak twice). The food price is really fair, though the soft drinks are really too expensive, even for Ku'damm Berlin.
If you want to have a dinner during either Friday or Sat, always book a place in advance.

    Great service,great steaks,nice red wine,good cocktails,dogs allowed.That was one year ago and I gave 5 stars.
Not sure what happened meanwhile, but I revisited with friends andthey modified menu and reduced portions almost to half.Looks like only chance to get decent portion is to order expensive steak plus extra side dishes.Cocktails are still good and strong.Very unprofessional blond bartender, that would serve us with sour face and after some small misunderstanding about food order,he even angrily threw chair behind us under table.

The Kurfürstendamm in Berlin is a brilliant place for just strolling along on a nice day and there are plenty of places where you can just sit outside, enjoy the sun and watch the action, be it mega-glamorous ladies, screaming Ferraris, bellowing Lambos or  in my case last week  the Tour de Berlin bike race.
As for refreshment, there are various opportunities to enjoy 'grand cuisine' (like the Hotel Bristol) as befits this elegant thoroughfare.
But you don't have to 'eat posh'. German steakhouses always offered enormously good value for money and excellent quality. If anything, the problem on the Kudamm is choice, since this genre is hardly under-represented.
I chose the El Dorado as it is a Spanish one and offers not just steaks but also a variety of tapas. The Barcelona mixed grill (aka Plato Mixto Catalan) certainly filled the bill and my digestive system. At EUR 14.95, I thought it was amazing value for money. It should be on display above in the photo attributed to me.
Not really the thing for the committed vegetarian, but I would imagine the carnivores reading this will have their appetite whetted.
